Inside Northeast is all set for the second edition of its flagship event, the INSIDENE Youth Conclave 2019. After successfully hosting Speakers from across Politics, Cinema and Media in its first edition, the team has geared up for its biggest event to be held on Saturday, November 30, at the Pragjyotish ITA Centre in Guwahati.
Among the many important panel discussions lined up for the day-long event, the INSIDENE Youth Conclave 2019 has introduced one on: Insurgency & Conflict Resolution in NE: Issues, Causes & Solution.
The panel discussion’s aim is to help connect the youth and those gathered to understand the concept of cross-border insurgency and its impact on the development of the region.
Considering the ongoing issues in the Northeast regarding various long pending demands of the indigenous people, the panel will also discuss the current state of the Bru or Reangs, Naga Peace Talks and the importance of having an equal share of women in politics.
The Insurgency & Conflict Resolution in NE: Issues, Causes & Solution panel will be presided by Deputy Chief Minister, Manipur Y Joykumar Singh, Indigenous People’s Leader and Head of the Royal House, Tripura Pradyot Manikya, Founder & Editor, Eastern Sentinel, Arunachal Pradesh, Jarpum Gamlin and Advisor to Naga Mothers’ Association, Rosemary Dzuvichu.
